FLIGHT SIMULATORS OF THE CLIN D’AILES MUSEUM

F/A-18 SIMULATOR

A team of enthusiasts from the Clin d’Ailes Museum set to work to provide you with an unparalleled flying experience.

After 3 years of preparation and work, interrupted by the Covid-19 situation,a unique simulator is being created at the Clin d’Ailes Museum.

With a little experience in simulator flight (if necessary, you can get this for free on our PC-7 simulator), we suggest you sit down in the cockpit of a McDonnell Douglas F / A-18 Hornet. You will be accompanied by an experienced moderator. If you take control of this aircraft, which is currently operated by the Swiss Air Force, after departing from Payerne Airport, you will discover our magnificent landscapes such as the Bernese or Valais Alps, magnificent lakes or our capital.

You have the possibility to intercept other civil or military aircraft or to accompany the formation of the virtual “Patrouille Suisse”. For the more experienced, an aircraft carrier is awaiting you in the Mediterranean Sea to catapult you from 0 to 250 km / h at less than 100 m. The hardest part is yet to come. The landing, slowed down by one of the 4 cables stretched on the aircraft carrier…

Interested? Commissioning is scheduled for soon, don’t miss this event.

This unique experience (from 13 years) is available upon prior reservation. The reservation will take place online on this website.
The commissioning information will be published on this page, stay tuned.

PILATUS PC-7 TURBO-TRAINER

The PC-7 is a two-seater “Turbo Trainer” utilized in the training of modern military pilots. As an initial training aircraft, the PC-7 introduces trainees to aerobatic flight and instrument navigation (IFR). Today the PC-7 is counted as one of the most advanced aircraft world-wide within the category of aircraft trainers. Since 1982 these aircraft have been operated by the Swiss Air Force pilot school.
